Music - 8 / 10 | -The music was fun and used evenly throughout the movie. The music to this movie will probably make a good sound track. Acting - 9 / 10 -I didn't find any glitches in the acting. In fact, I liked the acting which was helped by Cedric the Entertainer. Storyline - 6 / 10 -The storyline was original, yet I did not like it. It seemed vague on some aspects of the film. The ending of the movie killed the rating. The ending was too simple! The Protagonist in the film suddenly points out that the antagonist was doing something illegal without the narrator showing foreshadow. Comedy - 9 / 10 -There was lots of clever comedy in the movie. Overall Score- 8 out of 10 -This was a good movie. This movie might be a good 'Sunday Matinee'. The Story | In the dregs of Chicago, Illinois, Calvin (Ice Cube) who owns an old Barber Shop learns that there is more meaning to his fathers shop when he makes his big mistake by selling it to a greedy loan shark. As Calvin's hapless day looms onward, Calvin learns that he let down his friends at his Barber shop and soon attempts to return his Ill-gotten gains the greedy loan shark. But when the money for Calvin's shop is refused, havoc begins to erupt, and Calvin's day turns inside out.   | ||||||||||
